Four medical workers of Lviv region were awarded state awards

On June 16, celebrations on the eve of the Medical Worker’s Day took place in the Metropolitan Gardens of St. George’s Cathedral, where four physicians of Lviv region were awarded state prizes LODA press service.

The honorary title of “Honored Doctor of Ukraine” was awarded to:

Sekeli Mykhailo Vasyliovych, doctor of the specialized consultative polyclinic of the Research Institute of Epidemiology and Hygiene of Lviv National Medical University named after Danylo Halytsky,
Blue Omelyan Volodymyrovych, Head of the Department of the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital,
Nadiya Dmytrivna Rudnytska, Head of the Department of the Lviv Regional Phthisiopulmonology Clinical Medical and Diagnostic Center.

Honorary title “Honored Health Worker of Ukraine”:

Kryvka Yuri Yaroslavovych, rector of the Lviv Medical Academy named after Andrei Krupinsky.

“During the war, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are defending us at the front, and medical workers are protecting our health both here and on the front lines. Thank you for dedicating your life to the most precious thing that everyone has – life. You give people hope, you do not stay away from human grief, “said Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of Lviv OVA, during the awards ceremony.

According to Orest Chemerys, Director of the LODA Department of Health, the last few years have been a challenge not only for our medicine, but for the whole world, as doctors were the first to take Covid-19, and now tirelessly help our soldiers by treating them and giving a chance for a healthy future.

Also at the solemn event, initiated by the Commission on Health of the Lviv Archdiocese of the UGCC, thanks were given to the staff of the Lviv Military Medical Clinical Center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Western Region.
