Swedish club bans swimmers from training in bikinis over men’s reaction
The Swedish club has banned swimmers from training in bikinis because of the reaction of men. It is reported by Aftonbladet.
According to the source, the decision was argued that it distracts men. “I was told that the swimsuit can slip off when jumping off the cabinet. Terrible, isn’t it? As if this cannot happen with swimming trunks, ”said one of the swimmers. According to her, the club’s management felt that when training in a bikini, women think more about appearance than about sports.
The International Swimming Federation does not allow women to wear a two-piece swimsuit in competition. At the same time, swimmers also prefer to use one-piece equipment during training.
In November 2021, the International Handball Federation made changes to the rules regarding uniforms for women’s beach handball. Athletes were allowed to wear tight tight-fitting shorts for matches, as well as T-shirts that cover the stomach. Prior to this, handball players were required to play in bikinis and tops.
