Bayern announce signing of Liverpool player
Liverpool and Senegal striker Sadio Mane will move to Bayern Munich. The transfer was announced by the sports director of the German team Hasan Salihamidzic, whose words are quoted by Twitter Bayern & Germany.
The functionary answered in the affirmative to the question of whether the transition would take place. It is specified that Bayern will pay no more than 40 million euros for a newcomer. The Germans will have to pay 32 million for the Senegalese. The remaining payments are provided as bonuses.
Mane has been with Liverpool since 2016. Together with the team, the Senegalese won the National Cup, the English League Cup, the English Championship, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup once. The 30-year-old forward scored 23 goals and provided four assists in 51 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions last season.
In 2012, Manet made his debut for the Senegal national team. He scored 29 goals in 89 matches for the national team.
